Description
Fab (fragment antigen binding) fragments of
antibody are produced when antibody molecules are
cleaved with proteolytic enzymes. This model shows
hen egg-white lysozyme complexed with the Fab
fragments of three different antibodies, each of
which recognises a distinct epitope.
