Handwritten into two exercise books, these writings comprise: 'Notes re Insanity; Thoughts after attending the Centenary of the Friends' Retreat, May 6 1892'; 'Further Thoughts July 9 1892'; 'Further Thoughts by request 1896'; 'Further Thoughts re the Retreat itself'; 'Remarks, 1897, 1900'; 'Extracts from the Book that E.P. prepared in memory of the Centenary Celebrations of the Friends' Retreat in 1892'. On page 76 of volume I are photographs of Thomas Allis and Hannah Ponsonby. These books are similar to RET 1/9/1/2 but are more comprehensive
