    [3] ings, to transfer their caufe from the bar of their own Society, where it might have been for the intereft of the Prefi- dent to have fuffered it to be tried, to the bar of the Public; at which all caufes, once brought to it, aré fure to receive, foon or late, a fair decifion. They are confcious that it will foon be made appear to the Public, what is already well known in the Society, that their number is neither fo fmall, nor théit fituation fo low, nor their characters [6 infignificant, as to create a prejudice againft any bufinefs of which they are the promoters.
