Culpeper.] It is an excellent Pla¬ fter to eafe any pain coming of cold or wind in any part of the Body whe¬ ther ftomach, liver, belly, reins or bladder. It is an excellent remedy for the colick and wTind in the bo¬ wels. P ertues newly added. It is alfo good againft the dryDrop- fie or flatulent Dropfie being applied to the belly. Oyl one pound and an half, pert-de-greece, Litharge, Cerufl, of each three ounces. Frankincenfe half a pound. Hoch Gillum not. burnt, an dunce and an half, burnt, four ounces. Opopanax, Scales ofbrafi, Galbanum, of each twelve drams, siloes, Opium, Mirrh, of each half an ounce. Turpentine two pound. Juyce of Mandrakes, or elfe dried Barkofthe Hoot,fix drams, ptnegar five pound. Let the Litharge, Cerufl, and Oyl, boyt to the thiefnefi of Honey, then incorpo¬ rate with them the Pitch, being melted with B itumen in ponder i then add the refi, and boyl them according to art, till the Vinegar be confumtd,and it flick not to your hands. Bruife the Herbs, boyl them in the wine, then firain them, and add the refi, and make them into a plaifier according to art. ■ } : Culpeper.] It is a gallant Plaifter to unite the skul when it is cracked, to draw out pieces of broken bones, and cover the bones with flefh : It draws filth from the bottom of deep ulcers, reftores flelh loft, clenfeth,di- gefteth, and dryeth.
