The general health of the patients has been good and. free from any epidemic disease, for which we may be truly thankful,, looking at the large number within our building. The number of deaths has been low, and, looking to the diseases of various kinds which exist in patients when they enter our walls, the statistical return of mortality during the year will show a favorable comparison with the number of inmates. The number of patients discharged cured during the year is high. This is an important and pleasurable point in our report; it is likewise a cheering and upholding fact to our
