The usual quarterly samples taken from Borough Road and Ockford Works su])plies by the Health Depart- ment, all proved very satisfactory on analj^sis, as alsO' did those taken at various points of supply in the water area by the Water* Engineer. This system ensures an analysis of Godaiming water every six weeks throughout the year. A summary of the analyses is given lateit in the Report. Constant chlorination of the whole of the supply was carried out as in former years. Extensions of mains carried out during the year were as follows :— Within the Borough—1,275 yards (6in., 4in. and Sin. main). In Guildford Rural' District 22 yards of 3in. main.
