There have thus been 47 less cases admitted than in 1930. The greatest number ever admitted in one year was 488, and this occurred in 1925, closely followed in 1924 with 471. The average monthly number admitted was 15, but there was considerable variation in the numbers throughout the year. Thus the average monthly number admitted during the first quarter of the year was 18, second quarter 16, third quarter 16, and fourth quarter 12.
