![SMALLPOX VACCINATION All the vaccinations and re-vaccinations against Smallpox carried out during the year were done by Medical Practitioners! Only under exceptional circumstances are vaccinations done at the Local Health Aughority Clinics, although much importance is attached to the need for it and the Health Visitors encourage Parents to have their children vaccinated within six months. In 1956 fifty vaccinations and eight re-vaccinations were performed by the General Practitioners. HOME NURSING. The nurses operating this service continue to be very hard worked, although a much greater degree of co-operation seems apparent this year with the General Practitioners. I am sure the Doctors are fully aware of the amount of work that the District Nurses have to cope with and except in a very few isolated cases, they have gone to some length to relieve the Nurses if it is at ail possible to do so.
