No. 12. Pastorale Gregorii Saxonice. On the last cover, 4 Werferthus Ep’us Wigorn’ viijclxxii qui erat unus magistrorum Alfredi regis et iussu illius libros dialogorum beati papae Gregorii in Anglicam linguam transulit. Ex annalibus ecclesie Wigorn’ et affirmatur a Rogero Hovenden et aliis.5 Doubtfully assigned to Worcester by Dr. James, but it seems likely that Hatton MS, 20 (Bib. Bodl. This is apparently the autograph copy of Senatus, Prior 1189—1196.
