That deaths from Con- sumption (including strangers,) are less in this district in the proportion of 28 to 39, and those from diseases of the liver and digestive organs, in the proportion of 8 to 13 as compared with the same general average. The following table shews that the same advantage exists on a comparison with those places which are usually recommended in this latter class of affections.
