One case of Filth and Overcrowdin','ha.s been dealt with, and the family left the district. The Ikkeliouse.s and Slangliter Houses have been rcffidarly vi.sitcd, and may be considered .satisfactory. msiimiiY. The Sewer near the ^’iaduct is nn.salisfactory, often cau.sin^t a nui.sancc. The owner’s attention has been called to the .same. Tlie Sewaf'e Tanks belon''inf,' to Heath Town have caused grave nui.saiK'cs tlirougb inattention. The Council’s attention lia.s been drawn to the same, and they jiromi.se to jirevent an}’cause forcomjdaint in the future. The In.sjiector is endeavouring to formulate a Scheme nl Scweiagc at “The Scotlands,” where the cxi.sting arrangement-' are unsatisfactory. Cases of OvereriAvding, keejiing of jiigs causing Kui.-anee.s, and other Nuisances have been satisfactorily adjusted, and there has ben Systematic In.sjieetion of Bakehouses and Slaughter Hou.ses. Clll'-SI.Y.S' n.\Y. Several cases of Overcrowding have been dealt with. A regular .system of Emjitying of Ashjiits is neee.ssary ; the existing arrangements work most unsatisfactorily. Hill Street and Hatherton Street have no means of Drainage whatever, and .serious ditheidtie.s have arisen over the Non-Provision of Water for new hou.ses. m-NSTON. The whole of the Pari.sh was insja eted after an outbreak of Scarlet Fever. Several ease.s of Overcrowding rejiorted. Three houses abso- lutely condemned. Several Nuisances abated. rtSSINuTOX. The Ashjiits and Clo.sets have received better attention. Several Nuisances liave been rejiorted and abated. n.VTlIKUTOK. Four Nui.sanccs have been dealt with. The Drainage at the “ Dog and Partridge ” being in a veiy un.satisfactory state, has been tlmronghly re-organised and re-laid, and is now satisfaetor}'. I’ENKuinc;!-:. A great deal of attention has been jmid to various insanitary hou.se.s, and much remains to be ilone, in whicli legal jiroceedings will become neec.-sary. Six ca.ses of Overcrowding have been rejiorted, seven houses in a filthy state, and .rix other Nui.'-ances. Slaughter Houses and Bake- houses satisfactory. Proceedings taken in a ca.se of bad fish unlit for food. WIIKATON ASTON (I.AVI.KY). The Drainage is inadeijuate and juimUive, and is being taken in baud by the Insjiector. One eomjilaint has been made again.st a Bako- liou.se, and also against a Slaughter House. These defects have been remedied.
