    Manure. {This Invention received Provisional Protection, hut notice to proceed with the application for Letters Patent was not given within the time prescribed by the Act,) PROVISIONAL SPECIFICATION left by tbe said Leon Salles de la Magde- leine at the Office of the Commissioners of Patents, with his Petition, on the 3rd February 1858. I, Leon Salles de la Magdeleine, Gentleman, of Paris, (France,) do 5 hereby declare the nature of the said Invention for ‘‘ An Impeoved Manuee ” to be as follows:— The Invention consists in a liquid manure, in which the grain or seeds are to be steeped before sowing them, or with which the plants may be watered ; the same is composed of common salt, desiccated night soil, or other animal 10 dung reduced to a fine powder, water of ammonia, and ashes from wood, peat, or other vegetable matters, the entire mixed up with a suitable quantity of water so as to form a liquid, in which the grains or seeds are to be steeped before sowing them, or with which the plants may be watered.
