![(ALTERATIVE JUICE.) Dose : One teaspoon fa], in water, three times a day before meals, and grad- ually increase to tablespoonful dosses. SUCCUS ALTERANS (McDADE) is the preserved fresh juices of the true medicinal plants: Stillingia Sylvatica, Smilax Sarsaparilla, Phytolacca Decandra, Lappa Minor and Xanthoxylum Carolinianum; collected in their native growth under the immediate supervision of Dr. G. W. McDade, of Montgomery County, Alabama, U. S. A., as recommended by Dr. J. Marion Sims in the British Medical Journal, Dr. B. Rush Jones and many other eminent physicians.
