$pounds a-year for his life ; which proposal his Lordfhip carried to your Majefty, and with your royal approbation agreed with him for that fum, fignified the fame to the War-Of¬ fice, and then ifilled the following order to the regiments. <c January 26, 1762. 44 Ordered, 64 A S the King has been pleafed to make an addition to the falary of Mr. Samuel Lee, as “ furgeon to the army, for the relief of all 44 fuch ruptured foldiers as now are, or here- “ after may be, afflicted with that diforder, as “ foon as they are recovered fit for duty, he is 44 to return them to their refpedtive corps, 44 without any fee or reward whatever from the 0 44 regiments to which they belong; and for the 44 future, foldiers are to be lent to him with a 44 letter, in the form following: “Sir, 44 PLEASE to admit into your Hofpital 44 f\-B-, of regi- 44 ment, and company,,who is af- 44 Aided with a Rupture ; and when he is fit 44 for fervice to return him to his corps. 44 I am, &c. 44 To Mr. Samuel Lee, Surgeon, in Arun- 44 del-Street, London.55 Soldiers.$
