Particular attention has been paid to this subject, and every possible consideration is g*iven to the salvage of foodstufts without detriment to the consumers. All condemned foodstuffs are allocated tor animal feeding. Mdk Suj}i)ly. The number of Milk Producers in the fforoiigh is 27, and the number of Purveyors on the Register is G1. On 0 farms within the ]3orough Accredited Milk is produced under Licemo from the County (k)uncil. Two Purveyors are licemod to retail Accredited ]\rilk,2 Pasteurised Milk and 1 Tub erculin Tested Milk. ])uring the year 4\ samples of Accredited Milk aud 8 sam})les of l^asteiirised Milk were submitted to the Ba(‘- teriologist for examination and all proved satisfactory and to com})ly with the ])rescribed (‘onditions. One hun¬ dred and twenty-two samples of Ordinary Milk were examined, and 78 proved satisafctory. The 49 iinsatis- facdory samples were from 19 Producers, 8 of these being situated withiji the Borough. The Sanitary Inspectors pay careful attention to the production and distribution of Milk, and during the year 81(S visits were made to dairies and cowslieds.
