    insanity generally, I should not be surprised if our patient had yet to be removed to an asylum or home for the treat- ment of mental diseases. If venesection and transfusion had been resorted to, or, indeed, were they to be resorted to now, the symptoms of dementia in all probability would disappear more rapidly; but in the present state of his health we can only trust to the vis medicatrix natures.
