Contemporary Italian red morocco, on sides a broad border within two gilt lines, composed of thick gilt dots and a tool of spirals, in the middle a round intricate centre ornament composed of similar dots, spirals, flowers and flaming hearts, the back with raised bands, the compartments completely filled with gilt fillets and similar gilt tools. 140 pp. Engraved frontispiece and 33 engraved portraits of professors at Padua University, among whom are several physicians. A fine copy of a very rare portrait book.
