    IV. That the Appointment of the particular Diet of all the Patients be exprefly ordered by the Bated Phyficians, except in Cafes folely phirurgical. V. That they, or the Surgeons open all the Recommendatory Letters, whether the Committee be fitting or not, and give their Opinion at the Bottom of each Letter, whether the Patient is a proper Objedt with Regard to his Diforder, or af- fign their Reafons forjudging that he is not fo. VI. That the Phyficians be permitted the Liberty (ufual in mqft Infirmaries) of taking Pu¬ pils, to be inftrudted in Fhyfick, and of receiving from them a fatisfadtory Gratuity. And that thofe Pupils attend the Patients of that Phyfician only to whole Inftrudtion they have committed themfelves (unlefs otherwife agreed on by the Phyficians;) but that the Pupils be on no Occafion fuffer’d to prefcribe, VII. That any of the Phyficians, whofe Bufinefs orlndifpofition ftiall abfolutely oblige him to be ab- fent from the Infirmary, do in due Time ac- quaint the Houfe Apothecary to engage fome other Phyfician belonging to the Infirmary, to attend for him regularly during his Abfence, that no Patients be, through any Inadvertency, negledted.
