The two cases of poliomyelitis notified did not develop, serious symptons or suffer any residual after affects of the disease* It is gratifying to note also that no cases of food poisoning occu^ed during the year. The two cases of Diphteria notified wevo ’’.'oth confirmed* The patients v/ere sisters, one aged 5 and the other aged 3 and Laboratory Reports on swabs confirmed Co Diphtherias Mitis present in both caseso The 5 year old child had received only one immunising injection at 8 months of age, v/hilst r r 3 year old sister had not been immunised at alio Following extensive investigations at the home of the children and at the schoo]. attended by the elder child,no other cases of this disease were found* The source of infection was not tracedo
