![CHAPTER IV. OF DECISIONS. ]. The sense of the majority of the Society, as ascer- tained by Ballot, shall, in all cases not particularly specified, regulate their Decisions. © 2. The following shall be the manner of balloting. Every Member who may not choose to vote having retired, each remaining Member shall put into the “ Aye” or “ No3 * * * * * * * 11 side of the Ballot-Box, according to his respective opinion, a Ball which he shall receive for the purpose. After all pre- sent have voted, the Balls shall be counted by the President, assisted by the four Senior Ordinary Members present, and if they be found to correspond with the Number of Voters as ascertained by the Secretaries, the President shall an- nounce the Decision according to the proportion of Balls le- gally required to constitute it. 3. The exceptions to Law 1 shall be the following:— (1.) Question requiring only the concurrent suffrages of one-third of the Society to carry it. («) The appointment of an Extraordinary Meeting for Private Business. (2.) Questions requiring a Majority of two-thirds of the Society. (a) The adoption of a new Regulation.
