![Voluntary Tuberculosis Care Committee~The Southport Voluntary TubH culosis Care Committee continued as in previous years to provide patients and th^| families with financial and other assistance. The Committee forms an essential partti the general scheme for tuberculous patients and all the medical and nursing staff who jl'‘ engaged in this service are members of the organisation. The Tuberculo:] Health Visitor in the Health Department acts as Hon. Case Secretary and the Chief Ck j undertakes the duties of Hon. Treasurer. Assistance is also received from other memb(* of the staff of the Health Department in organising the Christmas Seal Sale. During 1962 the Care Committee provided considerable financial and other assisj ance to patients and their families. i B.C.G.
