Doubt- less subject to traction when ]>a- tient is erect. Narrow band running from transverse meso-colon to pylorus, causing marked constriction of pyloric orifice. Evidence of old ulcer on ex- treme upper point of first portion of duodenum and approaching pylorus. Greatly distended duo- denum. Transverse colon prolapsed into pelvis. Some evidence of fixation of middle of transverse colon. Appendix long, curved toward iliac crest; its tij) firmly adherent by filcrous bands to transverse meso-colon, forming complete half circle. Cecum long and mobile. Ileum, at point four inches from ileocecal valve, firmly ad- herent to pelvic floor by fibrous band three inches wide.
