How many Cattle did you lose in March last,] and state if possible the dates on whicli they died. 2. How many cattle had you at that time 1 3. How was your herd composed. That is : how many were bullocks working on the estate, ] how many for slaughter '? how many cows 1 4. How many of the cattle were reared in the colony, and how many were imported 1 5. State the latest periods at which the imported cat- tle were bought ; and, if possible, give the names of the ships by which they were introduced. 6. In March last, had you any cattle lately introduced from Aden or Madagascar 1 7. Were the symptoms of the disease in March at all similar to those observed in the present epizootic '? 8. J'ai attribue la mort de ces animaux plutot a la vieillesse et a la fatigue qua la maladie. 2o. En Mars j'en ai perdu quatre aux dates ci-dessous ; le 10, le 14, le 17 et le 26.
