![THIRD REPORT. [25th Feb. 1846.] The Deputation appointed with full authority on behalf of the National Association of General Prac- titioners, to accept such a Charter of Incorporation for the General Practitioners as the Crown might be advised to grant, and on behalf of the Society of Apothecaries, to relinquish their present privileges as soon as the terms of the proposed Charter should be adjusted, under the sanction of Her Majesty’s Advisers, to the satisfaction of the Deputation, in- vite attention to the following Report. On the 12th of May, 1845, the Deputation an- nounced to the Profession that Sir James Graham was prepared to recommend the grant of a Charter of Incorporation, on the basis of certain “ Heads of Charter,” which had been submitted to him, as having been mutually agreed upon by the Society of Apothecaries and the National Association; but that it had been intimated to the Deputation, that the offer of a Charter was to be regarded as part of a general arrangement, and that its acceptance, therefore, must be considered in connexion with the other portions of the scheme.](https://iiif.wellcomecollection.org/image/b22376641_0032.jp2/full/800%2C/0/default.jpg)
