About this work

Description

"The Earth Mother Magic Tarot Zines includes detailed upright and reversed meanings of each card, as well as in-depth descriptions of the underlying symbolism and imagery of the illustrations. In the zine, you can also find information about the making of the tarot deck, as well as advice about using the tarot cards and ideas about understanding the tarot through a queer lens. The zine also provides three tarot spreads: one for exploring queer love, one for healing, and a spread for the full moon. There is also a list of ideas for questions to ask the tarot surrounding themes of self-exploration, mental health, family, friendships, love, sex, career and finances. The tarot zine is beginner friendly, and includes basic descriptions of how to use tarot cards on a practical level, as well as including suggestions for how to do intuitive readings and tap into your subconscious mind or spirit self through the tarot. The zine also includes explanations of the overarching meanings and elemental correspondences of each of the four tarot suits (wands, cups, swords and pentacles)."-- From zinester's Etsy. https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1352119689/the-earth-mother-magic-tarot-zine-a

"The Earth Mother Magic Tarot Zine is a guide to the symbolism behind the cards in the Earth Mother Magic Tarot Deck. The zine is illustrated, with the text being complemented with the tarot artist's original fine-liner illustrations. You are welcome to use this tarot zine alongside another tarot deck - however, you may find that some of the descriptions are specific to the Earth Mother Magic tarot cards. If you wish to buy the tarot deck, you can find it in the "tarot decks" section of the Illustration Witch Shop on Etsy. A brief description of the tarot deck is as follows: The Earth Mother Magic Tarot Deck is an intersectional feminist tarot deck for queer women and femme non-binary people. It was drawn entirely by hand, and designed based on it’s sister Major Arcana deck, the Sapphic Enchantress Tarot. The intention of Earth Mother Magic Tarot is to empower women and femme people in the face of an adversary world, to celebrate queer love, and to embrace raw feminine power through an intersectional representation of femininity, depicted through a female and queer gaze. Earth Mother Magic Tarot encourages readers to use the cards to tap into their intuition, explore their unique experiences as queer people and as women or femmes, and to question their relations to and places within society. The Earth Mother Magic Tarot calls upon the Mother Earth archetype, illustrating a queer utopia where women and femmes live in harmony with and as a part of nature, in the absense of capitalist consumerism and of the patriarchy."-- From zinester's Etsy. https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1352119689/the-earth-mother-magic-tarot-zine-a
