No copy in America, acc. to Census. Printed with type 7 and 8 of Besicken and Mart. de Amsterdam. The large woodcut represents a priest and a confessing, kneeling, man. At the right a blessing angel. A devil hovers over the group. Martin van Amsterdam who had been in the offices of Riessinger in Napels since about 1484 started a press in that town in 1498 together with Johann Tresser. In 1499 he leaves him to join in 1500 Joh. Besicken at Rome with whom he prints a.o. the above book, and with whom he remains till about May of the following year.
