Boards, in —folio. f175.— Jacques Fabian Gautier D’Agoty, born at Marseilles about 1717 was an assistant of Le Blon, and after the death of Le Blon he obtained the latter’s privilege in 1745. About his works Choulant Frank p. 270 says: ,,.... they will always retain their value in the history of art and especially in the history of anatomic illustrations. Calf (damaged) in —folio. f 160.— *This most extraordinary work is entirely produced by the process of stencilling. The name of the artist who produced this book as early as 1779 is H. de Myttenaere.
