Description
Portrays the work of the Wellcome Trust-supported clinical research unit for the study of severe malaria, rabies and snake-bite in the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand. Shows clinical studies of intravenous quinine therapy in cases of severe malaria, the use of tissue culture in the production of rabies vaccine and the management of patients bitten by Malayan pit vipers.
