Description
Woodblock illustration from a work on 'Chinese' medicine by the 18th century Japanese physician Hara Masakatsu, published in 1807 (4th year of the Bunkwa era). The liver channel of foot jueyin is one of the Twelve Channels. Originating at the dadun (Big Mound) point in the big toe, it ascends via the inside of the heel, the inner ankle, the popliteal fossa (guowo) and the inner thigh.
