    patient should be immediately isolated, when the eruption will appear in 24 hours, In the meantime, of course, the doctor has been in attendance. The patient should be put to bed, and kept there until the skin has peeled. The room should be warm, and as long as the fever lasts the diet should be milk with barley water, and, perhaps, a little chicken broth or beef-tea. The food must also be light during convalescence. When the patient leaves his bed he should be taken to another room and washed in awarm bath containing a strong antiseptic. He must be dressed in new clothes, and his old garments burnt. We are now assuming a mild and simple case. Where there are “complications, the treatment must necessarily be regulated by the doctor. SCROFULA. This is quite a different complaint to Fezema. But the treatment generally is the same. It is imperative to call in a doctor.
