Maraki Caloudis: HIV/AIDS Literature and Objects

The following is an interim description which may change when detailed cataloguing takes place in future:

Material collected by Maraki Caloudis during the course of her work and attendance at conferences, including conference programmes and abstracts (notably BHIVA), drug company literature, creatinine clearance slide ruler, antiretroviral drugs treatment guides, pens, post-it notes and coasters advertising drug companies or HIV drugs, informational CDs produced by Bohringer Ingelheim.

Accession 2176 was presented to the library at Wellcome Collection 08/05/2015 and additional items were received 14/05/2015.

Maraki Caloudis has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for fifteen years, including with Gilead, Pfizer and Bristol-Myers Squibb. She joined ViiV Healthcare in 2013, a pharmaceutical company specialising in the development of therapies for HIV that was created as a joint venture by Pfizer and GlaxoSmithKline in November 2009 (now also co-owned by Shionogi).
