Three large or four small crackers, pounded, 4 eggJ 3 pints of mill:, 1 pint of cream, (or in want of] cream, put j cup of but- ter, and a little more lhan 3 pinls of milk,) sugar enough lo make ii sweel is custard, a teaspoon of cinnamon. J II). bo.v rais- ins, andaliule salt. Beai llie eggs and sugar to- gether. Bake 1, or 1 J hours. Eal willi butler or hot sauce. Bread Pudding. 1 lb. bread, or biscuit soak- ed in 1 quart of milk, run it through a sieve or cul- lender ; add 7 eggs, and i{ lb. sugar, previously beaten togcilier, I lb. but- ter, 2 lb raisins, nulmeg. cinnamon, rose-water to suit taste. Bake $ hour Boiled Flour Pud- DIHfi. 1 lb. flour, 1 qt. new milk, 9 eggs, put in a bag or tin pudding boil- er, drop in boiling water and keep steadily boilinr I i hour. Eal with sweei sauce. Six, or three iigs will answer, bv ad- ding a liitle more flom and salt. Boiled Indian Pud- ding. One quart new milk, 1 oi 2 eggs, a little jail, and Indian meal suf- ficient to make a stiff bat- ter. Boil steadily 3 or 4 ours.
