With the in¬ creasing complication of modern life, the many inhibitions and re¬ pressions to which the most ordinary people are subject, the doctor is faced with difficulties of so compli¬ cated a nature that without advice or help from those who specialise in these matters he is at a loss to give counsel. In this book Dr. Moody deals with a number of the more likely and common forms of such difficulties and in a series of Gases describes the symptoms, and enlarges on the advice and treatment the patient should be given. This is a book essentially for the doctor, but it has its interest for the layman.
