Interlocutores : Andres Antonio; Obadya Israel (sic).” The author says in his Preface that he was residing at Morocco when Andres Antonio, a native of the Low Countries, arrived there in search of a brother of his, named Bernardo Antonio, who had forsaken the Catholic faith and become a Jew, Both brothers dispute together on the advantages of their respective religions, and Andres, half convinced by Bernardo’s arguments, puts down in writing the substance of their conversation, to show it to a friar who had come to Morocco in the suite of a Dutch ambassador.
