Description

Admiral Sir Percy Moreton Scott, first baronet, naval officer and engineer. Served in the Royal Navy in the Anglo-Egyptian war, 1882, and the South African War, 1900. Devised improvements in gunnery for which he took out a number of patents, licensed Vickers to manufacture them, and introduced them into the Royal Navy. Author of Fifty years in the Royal Navy (1919)
