(this case occurred in vour Di.stnct, and is one of the two tubercidous deaths recorded); a third from Peritonitis simulating Enteric Fever. The oliservation cases included a severe quinsy, a iion-diphtheritic Laryngitis, contacts of sca.rlet fever cases with sore tliroats but no rash. 'I he mumps cases were all nur.se.s from tho Devizes and District Hospital. As will be evident from the above toJile. a nunilrer of cases, siome for obsemation, others not statutorily notiflablei but infectious, were usefull.y admitted.
