The birth-rate population for these years was respectively 118,955; 118,717; 118,387 ; and 116,152. TYie death-rate (or civilian) population is shown in the table above. (c) “ Transferable Deaths ” are deaths of persons who, having a fixed or usual residence in England or Wales, died in a district other than that in which they resided.
