It is distinguished by two valuable characteristics One is the wire gauze sieve, which prevents dust or other deleterious matter being forced through the spray, and the other is the special rubber washer fixed to the bulb, which ensures all the air passing from the bulb being utilised, thus’ forming a larger volume of spray. This washer prevents premature wear of the bulb, _ besides obviating repeated and abortive attempts at spraying. In chronic laryngitis, bronchitis and bronchi- ectasis, oil of pine may be used to advantage and, for this purpose, ‘PINOL,’ the volatile oil of Pinus pumilio, is issued. Where there is much secretion, the inhalation of ‘‘nascent” ammonium chloride is, in many cases, distinctly beneficial. Preparations wae ‘ PAROLEINE’ BRAND LIQUID PARAFFIN [4 B.
