Behold me—1 was going to fay—but I fliould be ex¬ tremely furry vou were to fee me, exhaufted with fatigue, anxiety and diftrefs, at the eve of an undertaking that re¬ quires my being coileCted, cool, and eafy in mind. The difficulties thrcwn in my way, have pofiponed all my preparations; and indifpofied and exhaufted as 1 am, I cannot avoid paying fuch attention to the operations of this night, as will allow me but little fleep. DoClor Fordyce is applying his ingenious apparatus to fill the BaU loon. The procefs is admirable though flow; but, I hope by attending to it all night, I (hall keep my appoint¬ ment with the public to-morrow.
