    National Institute of Industrial Psychology PRIVILEGES OF MEMBERSHIP 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 You will be entitled to priority of consideration in regard to the following functions of the Institute: (1) The undertaking, on behalf of Industrial and Commercial Firms, of private investigations and subsequent supervision in regard to: (a)—Movements of the Worker, (b)— Selection of the Most Suitable Workers for Different Kinds of Work. (/)—Arrange¬ ment of Material, (d)—Methods of Training, (e)—Efficiency of Illumination, Ventilation, etc. (/)—Methods of Payment, Incentives, etc. (g)—Increase of In¬ terest and Reduction of Monotony, (h)—Distribution of Periods of Work and Rest. (/)—Salesmanship, Advertisement, Designs, etc. (2) The training of suitable members of a firm’s staff in movement study, time study, vocational selection, etc. You will regularly receive, post free, the Institute’s publications, including copies of its Journal and Reports, describing in non-technical terms the most modern principles employed and the most recent results obtained in the application of up-to-date physiological and psychological knowledge to the human aspects of industry and commerce throughout the civilized world. You will be entitled to nominate individual cases for vocational guidance at the Institute, at half the usual fee, i.e., at ij guineas instead of 3 guineas. You will be invited to take part in the special visits arranged to important factories and institutions, including some of those in which the Institute has carried out investigations. You will receive invitations to special lectures, discussions and demonstrations at the Institute and to general conferences on the problems of Industrial Psychology. You will be entitled to use the Institute’s Library. You will be entitled to attend, at half the usual fee, lectures on the subjects falling within the purview of this Institute, arranged by the Institute at the London School of Economics.
