Pallas, a German, 1741-1811, made some scientifical expeditions into Russian Asia and published several works on his experiences. The «Flora Rossica» has been written and published in the name of the Empress Katharina II. Our copy contains not only the 101 plates described by Brunet, but also the 25 plates published 1815 after the death of Pallas. (See Pritzel 6905). Splendid, complete copy. 123. PLUMIER, Carolus.
