The Dofe was increafed, but to no good Purpofe : It feemed rather to heat her, an Effed: which fhe never found from it before, but the leaving it off in time prevented an Aggravation of the Symptoms, if in her Cafe that Expreffion may be al¬ lowed. She is now beginning the Medi¬ cine again, and is again relieved by it. She was blooded, purged, and made ufe of fof- tening Applications to the Part, but the Swelling, attended with confiderable Pain, foon increafed, and, not long after, appeared to be a confirmed and ulcerated Cancer; the * ~ * Tumour being very large, the Sores fpreading, and the Pain increafing.
