    In addition to improvements in the sanitary accommodation of licensee premises referred to later in this report, the following works were carriec out on premises during the year :— Agricultural Implement Dealers :—New showrooms and office: erected with 3 W.C.s and 3 w.h.bs. for males and 2 W.C.s and 1 w.h.b for females. Linoleum Shop :—New shop erected with 1 W.C. and 1 w.h.b. foi males and 1 W.C. and 1 w.h.b. for females. Glove and Stocking Shop :—1 W.C. and 1 w.h.b. provided. Ladies’ Outfitter :—1 W.C. and 1 w.h.b. provided. Wholesale Confectioner :—New window provided for W.C. apt. anc kitchen formed. Footwear Shop :—Intervening ventilated space provided for W.C apartment, new W.C. and w.h.b. provided. General Grocer :—Lighting and ventilation of W.C. apt., and inter- vening space provided by new windows. Seedsmen :—W.C. and w.h.b. provided for female office staff. COMMON LODGING HOUSE. The Model Lodging House at 14-36 Skinnergate was inspected regularly. These premises continue to be kept in a very satisfactory condition. HOUSES LET-IN-LODGINGS. The conditions under which certain houses are let out in lodgings has been giving concern and the number of such houses requiring super- vision is increasing. During the year three such houses were added to the register bringing the total number to seven as undernoted:— Princes Street Hostel. 79 Scott Street. 3 Melville Street. 32 Caledonian Road. 6 Stormont Street. 30 Caledonian Road. 31 George Street (Top Flat). As the existing bye-laws, which were made in 1903, are out of date, the Town Council has at present under consideration the adoption of new bye-laws. TENTS AND VANS. I he I own Council’s Caravan Site at Cleeve was kept in a very satis- factory condition.
