The house and gully drains are in a ruinous condition, where they join the public sewer. ...The lower half of this sewer is new and good, but the other half is in a crumbling condition; the invert is very irregular, the side walls forced in and out, and the arch very defective; the house-drains are destroyed at their junction with the public sewer. ...The invert and side walls of this sewer re¬ quire repair. ...The lower part of this sewer is in a most hor¬ rible condition from decay and filth ; the arch and side walls are in danger of falling; the depo¬ sit is two feet in depth, and cannot be cleared away, owing to a step being left where a new sewer has been made to join. ...Several parts of these sewers are in a crum¬ bling condition ; the inverts very irregular; the arches and side walls in various places are in danger of falling.
