It speaks of it as being a * craftie, false and untrue translation,” and goes on to say that it “shall be by auctoritie of thys present acte clerely and utterly abolished, extinguished, and forbydden, to be kept or used in this Realme, or els wherein anye the Kynges dominions.” The other Acts included are also of especial interest with regard to the history of the Church of England: Cap. I, An Act for the aduancement of true religion, and for the abolyshment of the contrary. Cap. XV, An Act-touchinge the Dean and Chapiter of Walles (Wells) to be one sole Chapiter of it selfe. Cap. XVII, An Act for the newe erected Bishops to pay their tenthes into the Court of Fyrst Fruites.
