<p>This amateur film, which has been edited semi-professionally with additional intertitles and maps to orientate the viewer, consists of footage shot on the BMA's World Tour. This material is not duplicated on the Wellcome LIbrary's series. The first sequences are of The Great Lakes, Banff to Lake Louise, then travelling onwards by train through the Rockies to Vancouver. The group arrive in San Francisco, travelling to Honolulu. The passengers are garlanded with lei. Aspects of Hawaiian tourism are seen - Waikiki beach, dancing, diving. The engine room and footage of a baby in a bouncer. The sequences crossing the meridian are replicated here.</p>
