Also offprint of Wilkins’ article, ‘Social implications of biology’, published in <i>Proceedings of the third international conference from theoretical physics to biology</i> (Karger, Basel, 1973), and typescript notes by Tom Cavalier-Smith (undated), concerning an unidentified article by Wilkins on the social responsibility of the scientist. Also transcript of a BBC Science Magazine radio broadcast, recorded May 1986, on ‘Is science above politics?’, including a contribution from Wilkins.
