![[ 2* ] drachms and fifteen grains of myrrh, three fcmples and a half of fait of wormwood, and half a drachm of fait of fteel— one dofe to be taken three times a day. Having taken the firft dofe, he had a ftronger rigor than ordinary; but the next day, he had much lefs fever, and from that time continued mending; fo that by the time he had taken the nine dofes, his- fever was quite fubdued; and when he came to me the next Sunday, (the 21ft) he had entirely reco¬ vered his appetite and fpirits, and as much of his firength as could be expected.
