![[ 1° ] didymis terminates in the Vas Deferens; and the Vas deferens obliquely terminates in its refpective Veficula Seminalis, difcharging its ftream of Se¬ men into the ceils, of which this receptacle is compofed. The Epididymes are two vafcular bodies, as the tefticles are; but the veffels of the Epididy¬ mes are obferved to be more confpicuous than thofe of the tefticle : The Epididymes, in their fhape, and form, are oblong; approaching to that of a cylinder : they are fttuated upon the fuperior parts of the tefticles. To enable us to form an adequate idea of this name, which, is fo univerfally bellowed on the appendix of each tefticle; it muft be remem¬ bered, that by the ancients the tefticles were termed Didymi; and from fituation, thefe ap¬ pendages were denominated Epididymes. The Epididymis, then is a part of the tefticle, taking its origin within the body, or fubftance of the tefticle, by many diftind Tubuli, or excre¬ tory ducts; whiqh Tubuli terminate in the Epi¬ didymis, and at length form an excretory dud called Yas Deferens.
