I* The principal difeafes to which the Scrotum, the Tunics of the Tefticles, the Tefticles them- felves, and the Epididymes, are iubjeded, are, inflammation, fuppuration or abfcefs, dtoplv, mortification, fiftulous ulcers, caliohties, induc¬ tions, and that worfe degree of induration termed fchirrhus, which is fometirnes difpofed to become cancerous. As thefe difeafes are very differently circum- ftanced, different modes of treatment are found proper, as well as neceflarv, for their iehef and cure.
